Fortune and Great Place to Work® Names PMG One of the 2022 Best Workplaces For Women™, Ranking #4
With PMG since 2012, David Gong leads marketing initiatives at PMG, drawing on his past experience at agencies, publishers, and industry.
Great Place to Work® and Fortune magazine have honored PMG as one of the 2022 Fortune Best Workplaces for Women™. Among the 125 companies included, we ranked #4 among small- and medium-sized companies.
The Best Workplaces for Women™ are chosen based on survey responses from over 640,000 women who work for Great Place to Work-Certified™ companies. The list selects winners based on how fairly women say they’re treated at their workplace. Great Place to Work® measures the differences in women’s survey responses with those of their peers and assesses the impact of demographics and roles on the quality and consistency of women’s experiences.
“Congratulations to the Best Workplaces for Women and their commitment to ensuring equity for women at every level of the organization,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “These companies showed up for women in new ways to help them cope with challenges they face wherever they are—both inside and outside of work. Women in these companies are seen, heard, and valued.”
At PMG, we’re focused on building a culture of belonging, inclusion, and diversity (CBID), and championing and empowering female employees has been integral to our culture since our beginning. Our very first employee resource group (ERG) was WeCollective, which works to inspire women to achieve the previously unachievable; support and empower each other; and host workshops, community outreach, and speaker panels. Women at PMG are also supported by eight other ERGs, including those serving the BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, working parents, young professionals, and interfaith communities, among others.
We continuously evolve and improve our policies and benefits to enable women to grow their careers while still living full lives outside the office. As an example, new moms get up to 16 weeks of fully paid maternity leave, and can opt for a gradual return to work schedule. Beyond policies, though, women at PMG see other women in key management roles at the company, a reflection of PMG’s commitment to diverse leadership.
