With PMG since 2012, David Gong has led marketing initiatives at PMG, drawing on his past experience at agencies, publishers, and industry partners.

The US Search Awards today announced that PMG has been named a finalist in its annual competition to showcase the expertise, talent, and achievements in search marketing. PMG is up for the Most Innovative Campaign award because of its pioneering work that helped a retail client streamline and automate time-intensive and time-sensitive efforts around global promotions management.

PMG built the technology to address the retailer’s store promotions. While some promotions were storewide, many were targeted for particular categories and changed quite frequently. On average, the brand would launch three promotions a week, with variations and adjustments made across more than a dozen countries and scores of search accounts. PMG’s innovation ensured massive promotional support at a fraction of the time it used to take the client.
