PMG Picks Up Most Nominations In 2nd Annual U.S. Digital Trading Awards

The Drum announced the shortlist for its second U.S.-based Digital Trading Awards today, and PMG was named a finalist eight times over, more than any other company from an impressive field. The agency was honored for its work across the full spectrum of digital marketing, from high impact brand campaigns, to biddable media campaigns in search and social media, to leveraging data and analytics to drive major wins for its clients.

Below is a list of PMG’s nominations.

  • Best High Impact Campaign for Beats by Dre’s UK-based campaign during the big Anthony Joshua fight this year.
  • Best Video Campaign for Beats by Dre’s Got No Strings (GNS) holiday campaign.
  • Best Paid Social Campaign – Beats’ #ReadyforAnything campaign during the Euros 2016 tournament.
  • Best Paid Search Campaign for PMG’s innovative approach to leveraging impression share to drive more profit and volume.
  • Best Cross-Platform Campaign for Beats’ GNS  holiday effort.
  • Most Effective Use of Data for both its proprietary product inventory-based bid algorithm and its traveler-targeted campaign for OpenTable.
  • Most Effective Programmatic Media Partnership for PMG’s joint effort with MediaMath for a global retailer.

Chairman of the judging panel, Wayne Blodwell said about this year’s entries, “The standard of entries was exceptionally high, there is some amazing work which is really solving for advertisers’ challenges. The judging day was heated (in a fun way) and resulted in a stand-off at one point and that’s testament to the quality of the entries.”

Winners will be announced in New York City on September 21st at the Edison Ballroom.
