Add Calls-to-Action with YouTube Bulk Editing
YouTube videos can be a big source of brand awareness and, with some work, can lead to direct sales or social followers as well.

Action Jackson: The description, YouTube annotations, or even the video itself can prod viewers to take an action. Actions can be visiting your website, social profiles, or subscribing to your channel.
_Generic Marketer:_ Why does a fictional 80s movie cop know so much about YouTube?
Action Jackson: I don’t know, I’m confused, too!
So we took Action’s advice and added a “footer” to the description of all of a PMG clients’ videos to get a little more action out of them. Below is a sample of how this could look:
How to Bulk Edit Videos:
One catch – updating large numbers of videos like this can be a challenge. The admin area of YouTube offers options for doing bulk tasks. YouTube offers an API for building custom video management tools as well.

Log into YouTube and go to the “Video Manager”
Click on the videos you want to edit. You can easily select all of your videos or filter by searching first.
Next the “Actions” button and find “Advanced” at the bottom to unlock the secret menu.
Now you can edit just about any aspect of your videos in bulk. To add a description call to action footer, click description.
