As a Tagging Implementation Specialist at PMG, you will be responsible for site tagging and analytics support. The ideal candidate in this role is someone who is self-motivated and brings prior experience within tag management and website analytics solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly in tag management systems to implement, test, and deploy media tags, or communicate to client teams what tags are needed and how to implement them
  • Create, modify, and maintain tag manager containers, tags, triggers, and variables to ensure accurate data collection and tracking
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper tagging for various marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Investigate and resolve tracking issues, or provide guidance to client teams
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of tagging processes and configurations
  • Ad hoc analysis and reporting using web analytics tools

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in tag management systems, with a strong emphasis on Google Tag Manager proficiency
  • Proficient use of web analytics tools, including Google Analytics UA and GA4
  • Working knowledge of Javascript, JSON, DataLayers and Cookies
  • Demonstrated history of collaborating effectively with both internal and external teams
  • Prior experience working  within digital media platforms such as, Meta, Google, TikTok and other publisher platforms
  • Understanding of UTM parameters

Not required but highly preferred:

  • Familiarity with Tealium and Adobe Experience Platform Launch
  • Experience with server-side tagging and conversion APIs
  • Familiarity with Adobe Analytics and Mixpanel
  • SQL experience
