PMG is a global independent digital company that seeks to inspire people and brands that anything is possible. Driven by shared success, PMG uses business strategy and transformation, creative, media, and insights, along with our proprietary marketing intelligence platform Alli, to deliver Digital Made for Humans™. With offices in New York, London, Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, Atlanta, and Cleveland, our team is made up of over 500 employees globally, and our work for brands like Apple, Nike, Best Western Hotels & Resorts, Gap Inc., Kohler, Momentive, Sephora, and Shake Shack has received top industry recognitions including Cannes Lions and Adweek Media Plan of the Year.

Today, PMG announced the appointment of Jon Dupuis to the newly created role of President. Dupuis will join PMG’s executive team to drive global integrated services and help continue PMG’s investment in connecting full-funnel media, creative, data, insights, and technology. He will report to PMG founder and CEO George Popstefanov and split time between PMG’s offices in Austin, Texas, Dallas-Fort Worth, and New York.

“We’re adding this as a new role that I have been considering for a while, and it took time to find the right person,” said George. “PMG is growing, passing the 500-employee mark, and now servicing some of the largest Fortune 50 brands, and I wanted to add to our operational excellence what Jon brings to the table. Jon and I have been speaking for a year about our shared vision and values for PMG, and he will be helping PMG to evolve and deliver against our integrated service model: creative, media, technology, and strategy across the globe for our brands. It is the right time for PMG to add this level of leadership to our team, as Jon will help us ensure that PMG continues to over-deliver for our customers.”

In a note to PMG employees this morning, Jon shared in George’s excitement, saying that “today marks a highly anticipated milestone for me, and I couldn't be more thrilled. It is truly an honor to become part of this exceptional team and embrace the extraordinary momentum…built over the past 13 years.”

Dupuis’ 25-year career, which spans large global agency networks, has centered around how creative, media, and technology work together to drive the success of some of the most impactful brands. He joins PMG from Dentsu where he was Global President of dentsu|mcgarrybowen and CEO of Dentsu Creative Americas, focused on strengthening the agency’s offerings in 33 offices across 24 countries. In September 2020, he added the appointment of CEO of Dentsu Creative across the Americas, where he united the creative community and brought the superpowers of 360i, Isobar, and dentsu|MB together into a more unified offering. Prior to this, he worked at agencies McCann Erickson, Digitas, and Havas and led his own independent agency, NYCA, which he sold in 2008.

“PMG is a technology-first company that is redefining how brands go to market, from how they’re using data, to where they’re running media, to how they merge strategy, creative, and media buying into an outcome-obsessed approach,” said Jon Dupuis. “Honestly, I was swept off my feet [with PMG], but there are really three parts to the story. The first is the people. When we started talking a year ago, it was never about the specifics of a role; it was about humanity and people and culture and values, and having the time to understand that vision is what drew me in. The second part was that when you get under the hood, the high growth at PMG is super exciting for any leader in this business. We can have true, outcome-obsessed conversations with our customers that can drive impact. And finally, digging deeper, you realize the technology is what really drives that outcome obsession, and PMG is centered around an engineering team that is building that tech in new ways, and having that foundation of tech to drive those outcomes was super impressive. So really, as I got to meet more people, I really understood the shared values I had with the organization. I look forward to helping the stellar team at PMG continue to evolve through technology and lead us into a new era in which tech continues to be at the heart of everything we do.”
