With PMG since 2012, David Gong has led marketing initiatives at PMG, drawing on his past experience at agencies, publishers, and industry partners.

Today, Ad Age published its annual rankings of the best companies to work at in advertising, and PMG continued its record streak on the list, ranking #3 among companies with more than 150 employees. We’re the only company to have made the list every year for the past 10 years, and we’ve accomplished that during an amazing period of growth at the company.

The annual program recognizes the top workplaces that foster innovation, collaboration and employee well-being, and companies are selected based on an employee survey as well as an assessment of their benefits, programs, and policies. At PMG, we’re proud to be a people-driven company, and we know that creating a great workplace where employees are eager to give their best effort every day is challenging. It’s why we apply a Kaizen approach to not only recruiting talent but also helping our employees engage and grow their careers at PMG while also supporting their endeavors outside of the company.

“The companies on Ad Age’s 2025 Best Places to Work list have shown a deep commitment to building workplaces where employees truly want to be—no small feat in today’s challenging labor market,” said Dan Peres, president of Ad Age.

Some benefits consistently mentioned by our team members include paid time for volunteering, a company-funded Lifestyle Spending Account, free counseling through a robust employee assistance plan, a commitment to mental health support, professional development opportunities that serve both new industry employees and senior leaders, extensive support for PMG’s communities through employee resource groups, and company events that are open to employees’ families.

Being a culture that’s become a destination for top talent in the industry is something we’re very proud of, but to consistently accomplish that over the past decade amidst incredible growth makes it even more gratifying. It’s one thing to be a great place to work when you’re relatively small; it’s a whole different challenge to do that while growing to be one of the largest independent companies in the industry.

Ad Age produced Best Places to Work 2025 in partnership with Workforce Research Group, an independent research firm specializing in identifying and recognizing great places to work. The winners reflect the highest overall numerical scores based on an analysis of questionnaires submitted by employers and survey responses from their employees.
