Jon Lefferts Joins PMG as Head of Video and Audio to Support Rapidly Expanding Video Practice
PMG today announced that Jon Lefferts has joined the company as Head of Video and Audio, a new leadership role designed to support PMG’s quickly scaling video practice and accelerate the agency’s integrated approach to modern media strategy.
Based in PMG’s New York City office, Lefferts will work in close partnership with PMG’s media leadership team globally. In this role, he will help advance PMG’s video and audio capabilities across linear television, online video, connected TV, digital video, and emerging premium environments, bringing greater cohesion to how brands plan, buy, measure, and optimize video investments in an increasingly converged marketplace.
The appointment comes at a pivotal moment for PMG as brand demand continues to grow for partners who can navigate the complexity of today’s fragmented video landscape. As audiences move fluidly across screens, platforms, and formats, PMG is expanding its video practice around a unified One-Video narrative and strategy, helping customers connect linear, OLV, CTV, and digital video into a more integrated and business outcomes-driven approach.
Lefferts’ addition builds on the significant growth of PMG’s video business. Since the spring, PMG teams partnering across media, client strategy, investment, and marketplace leadership have delivered a record upfront season for the firm, with commitments continuing to increase and strong feedback from customers. With Lefferts leadership, PMG is positioned to further scale this upward trajectory and bring even greater strategic guidance to customers navigating video’s next era.
“PMG has built tremendous momentum in video by helping brands move beyond channel-by-channel planning and toward a more connected, performance-oriented view of the marketplace,” said Lefferts. “The opportunity now is to bring even more clarity, integration, and strategic discipline to how brands approach video and audio across every environment that matters for their audiences, in ways that drive true business outcomes.”
“Jon’s appointment is an important milestone for PMG as we continue to expand our video practice and build for the future of converged media,” said Natalee Geldert, Head of Emerging Services at PMG. “Our customers are looking for guidance when it comes to properly leveraging the scale of linear, the precision of digital, and the innovation happening across CTV, streaming, and audio. Jon brings the experience and leadership needed to help us deliver that vision in a way that is integrated, actionable, and rooted in business impact.”
PMG’s video practice has become an increasingly important growth driver as brands seek more sophisticated approaches to planning and investment across premium video environments. By aligning strategy across linear, OLV, CTV, and digital video, PMG is helping customers reduce fragmentation, improve decision-making, and unlock more measurable value from their media investments.
“For years, PMG has helped ambitious brands navigate change by combining media expertise, technology, data, and strategy in ways that drive measurable business growth,” said George Popstefanov, Founder and CEO of PMG. “The expansion of our video and audio leadership reflects where the market is headed and where our customers need us most. Jon joining PMG is an exciting step forward as our modern video practice evolves to meet the moment for each of our brand partners.”
